Bremner's Visist the Bremner's

We were thrilled when Steve and Micah said that their family was going to come visit us this summer! They have been living in the Philippines, so obviously, we haven't seen too much of them. There were many days of laughing, playing games, Foosball tournaments galore and sight seeing. The nights were super fun for the kids and a little bit grating on the parents. There was a lot, and I mean a lot of giggling late into the night in Lily's room packed with girl cousins. The boys didn't so much giggle, as much as talk and talk and fight, and talk until they couldn't keep their eyes open anymore. It was totally worth it though!

Eliza and Lily and Jake on the swings

 Alyssa chilling on the slide
Roasting marshmallows and chatting about this and that on a Sunday evening.
We met Kristi's family and took a special trip into Salt lake and toured the conference center, then we walked around temple square for a while. I realized I hadn't been taking many pictures of their visit, so I tried to catch some that day.

It was hard to get everyone's attention at the reflection pond. There was a lot of talking going on.

These girls are two peas in a pod. Both adorable and irresistible. Eliza was hot and tired and she kept asking me to hold her. How could I turn that down? I could hold her forever. She is a super cuddly little girl....unlike mine.
We also visited the  Church history museum where the kids had so much fun.

 Cute girly girls

 Randy and Alyssa
We enjoyed lunch together and basically just had a great time enjoying each others company. Please please please come and visit us again soon!

Hodgepodge post

Tyler the cutie pie decided to make Randy some eggs Benedict (Bremner Style--with SPAM instead of ham) for Father's Day. He made everything himself, I just told him how to make the hollandaise sauce and he did it himself!
He was proud and Randy was impressed. Looks like we may have a little Chef on our hands.

Jacob lost his second front tooth! I didn't think he could get more adorable, but he did!
It definitely feels like summer at our house! There are kids running around all over the place and otter-pops handed out everywhere you turn! It's fun to be able to play all day long with friends. The best part is, when I get tired of them, I just send them to the next house and they can rotate around.

We are grateful for the little swing set we bought. Even though it is small for the boys, they still find ways to play on it.

Swimming Lessons

Oh boy! It's that time again. Sitting around in the sun waiting for my kids to learn how to swim. If you know me, you know that I don't particularly enjoy swimming and I don't care for watching my kids do it either. Anyway, here are some pictures of our swimming lessons .

Do these girls get any cuter? Seriously. they are adorable in their matching swimsuits. Alyssa insisted on wearing hers every day even though she never swam. What a cutie.

Lily's preschool teacher Mrs Butters has a pool in her backyard and her whole family teaches swimming in the summer. SCORE!

Jacob didn't like it at first, but he got the hang of it eventually

 Waiting for Jacob

Lily's turn. It worked out well that she already knew her teacher. She was not the least bit scared of it this year.

Apparently I didn't take any pictures of Tyler. I mostly dropped him off in the morning and he would walk home. Then we would go back and sit and eat lunch and play games for two hours while we waited for Jake and Lily to finish up. Tyler thinks he is a fish and is the perfect swimmer. He still has a lot to learn though.  All I can say is that I'm glad it's over.
