Our little Lily is getting older. She is now 4 months old and getting cuter every day. At her checkup, she was in the 50% for her weight and 50% for her height. An average girl. The pediatrician was concerned that she has not been gaining much weight though. at her 2 mo. checkup she was 75% for weight and 90% for her height, so it is quite a bit different now. He suggested I increase her medication for reflux and nurse her more often but smaller amounts as well as start feeding her cereal twice a day. I am trying two of those, but I am not quite ready to start solid food yet. She is super active, especially for a 4 mo. old. She rolls over every way possible and can scoot around too! This crazy girl is going walk out the door here pretty soon. And seeing as she is gaining weight (albeit a little bit) I think she will be fine with breast milk for now. Hopefully the spitting up will go away with more medication. Anyway, that is our Lily update.
Here is how she looks most of the time.
Yeah, fingers in her mouth, no thumb sucking, no pacifier (most days) just those two sweet little fingers. Just like her mama used to do.

So cutie... Roxie is always chewing on her toes.. Not finger but her toes. Lily is so cutie
Heidi use to suck on two fingers, I thought it was so cute but one day she got an infection in one of the fingers and she switched to her thumb. It must have fit better because she never went back to her fingers. Cereal can cause all sorts of problems, she is active and happy, breast milk is for babies best thing in the world. Mom B
So cute! She doesn't seem to be underweight to me. I probably would hold off on the cereal for now too. I'm glad we got to see her in person yesterday. What a cutie!
So...Lilly, not Lily? Haha. I think she's probably doing just fine growth-wise. Little cutie. She just wants to be average!
Looking forward to seeing the kids. Love you Lily.
I know a little finger sucker too, she looks perfect.
She is so cute! I like seeing your updates.
What an adorable cutie! I can't get over how big she has gotten!
She is in the 50th percentile, what is the big concern? She is happy and active, that is all you can ask for. She is getting cuter by the day.
If it makes you feel any better, Sienna has never once been on the charts for weight. She has never been close and I think she is perfectly healthy. Her doctor finally left me alone after constantly reminding him she was a preemie.
She looks perfect!! What a cutie! I hated starting solids too. It did help with Mack's reflux though. Once I started a little cereal the spitting up slowly started to ease off. But I agree that at 4 months it's hard to start that! I hope the medicine helps.
