This is our first tomato of the season. It is a cherry tomato. I sure hope it isn't the last tomato we have. I haven't seen anymore in the works. We have very large green tomato and pepper plants, but unfortunately not any fruits (with the exception above) of our labors as of yet. I did spy some buds yesterday though, so hopefully they will turn out something for us.
Tyler's watermelon plant is getting pretty big though, so that is something too.
I guess it is good that they aren't all dead right? Randy's and my thumbs must have a little green in them after all.

At least you got a red one. I have about 15 green tomatos on my plants that don't seem to be getting any bigger or redder. We do have three fist sized watermelon now though! I hope we'll get to eat one this year. Good luck with yours.
Wow both of you sound way behind the season. Shouldn't you be eating the tomatoes by now or is Utah slower than Minnesota. I hope your frost doesn't come in September like Minnesota.
I can't wait to start planting soon!! I still have to wait one more month and than I get to start planting!!!
