I've been working on some projects and I thought I would share my ideas. I've got a few more in the works, so expect another post sometime soon. The first is a wall hanging I made for Lily's room. I found that frame at the dollar store and I thought it would be perfect for little Lily's hand print. Unfortunately, her hand was slightly bigger than the square opening, but I still think it looks good. I obviously traced her hand and used scrapbook paper for the print. Next up..bows. Yeah, I am trying not to get obsessed with making bows. I had a little time, and the glue gun was out, the other day so I made me some hair clips for Lily that I had been making in my head for some time. You tell me if they look weird or cute.
I have hated finding church ties all over the boys room all the time, so I thought I would make them a tie holder. I bought an ugly pinkish frame at the DI for $2 and spray painted it black I used a nail gun to attach the ribbon to the back of the frame and there you have it!
Now I just have to find the rest of the boys' ties.I can't show you my other projects because they have been eaten.
I did take this picture of some of the apples my Mom and Dad gave me off of their tree. They made the BEST apple pie. I have made many apple and peach pies lately and as you all know, I love to play with the crust to make different designs. maybe for the next one I will remember to take a photo before I give it away. (David, if you need an "apple picture" you may take this one. Although I am sure you will find a much more comical photo somewhere else.)

You are too cute! I love these--especially the tie holder. I may have to think about which ones to co-opt. Thanks for the ideas.
Tie idea great why not put them in view rather than hide in the closet.
The bows are cute. I hope I have a girl so I can experiment with making some. They have the cutest ribbon out there. You are so creative . . .
