For FHE last night we carved pumpkins. It was pretty fun for me and I hope it was fun for the kids too. Tyler and Jake told us how they wanted their pumpkins carved and we did it for them. Of course I took the liberty and carved Lily's myself. I still can't believe people use stencils or templates to carve. Doesn't that take the fun out of it? Anyway, here are the photos of our finished jack-o-lanterns.

I agree when people use stencils it really bugs me. Is that how Ty showed what he wanted the face to look like, because that is a spooky face!

I like your pumpkins. We haven't gotten around to carving ours. Guess they will just stay like that till Halloween. I love all the Halloween costumes, esp. you as old people. So classic! And people use stencils because not everyone is creative at you at artsy things.
Love the pumpkins! They all came out so cute...the kids aren't bad either! :)
I love pumpkin carving night! Don't be a stencil hater just because you are an artist. Remember Heatho that not all of us are as wonderfully talented as you are. ha! don't judge mine too harshly.
Not all of us our master artists, so there is a large market for uncoordinated stencil users like me.
