It's the topsy tail tool.
I remember using it as a kid. So yes it is a very old product. BUT if you want to flip hair through itself in a ponytail, there is no better way to do it. So stinking easy to use. Look what I did with it today.![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinr0HJdt2TeuPWez4wmFvBSkCN4SdHjc5cjhdphd_XLRMesh_EhJuZjtbGwZqPGHLPyEg9yI1WJDFwnY_1xUN_Qi-hIDsxH-aTGvyDu2GsiLMDgeHrdy5V1LMo3euyeDMU1_yNr_Yv65Q/s400/DSC02534.JPG)
Yes, I'm totally impressed with myself. (and her for sitting. Thank goodness for "Super Why")
She sat so patiently and hardly noticed any pulling. So much easier than flipping it by hand. I highly recommend buying it for little girls' hair. The package came written in Chinese I think, so...there is a downside there, but I can look up instructions right?
Oh, while I'm posting about hair...I attempted a french braid the other day..![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhfgt7CiKc1pqRdB6Jc5MJxsHsJ0x37OOnL88i20avsAG9hdJKqXpCccYYTspq12hnI4dwO3nHK3jFrP73-2iMTlqCsbe_wzBMnzFc1CFMj_dOzcdspen-60fByR3JHjSJ3LAe_3xF0PyY/s400/DSC02517.JPG)

Totally worth it for $5! Lily looks adorable! I think I might need to buy one too. I tried flipping Savannah's pony tail the other day and she was not very happy with me-when we put it in and then again when we took it out.
I like your blog!...Daniel
Great job! Love playing with girls hair...I just shave mohawks into the boys hair :)!
