Don't Laugh

My friend wanted some help with making and decorating a bridal shower cake for her brother's fiance. I wanted to practice using modeling chocolate. So she and I got together yesterday and after MANY cake problems and wondering if we should go out and purchase a cake, we ended up making a very cute 3-D chocolate bow for the top of this sad looking cake.
By the way, modeling chocolate is my new favorite thing. It is so much fun! I can't wait to see what I come up with for the birthdays just around the corner in our house.

I think it looks great. Is it tasty to eat or is it more for looks, like fondant?

cake...well, i'm sure it tasted good, right :)
But really though, the bow is so cool. Someday I'll have to ask you how to do it.
