Sounds Like a Scam to Me

I received the following e-mail about my adsense account from Blogger (my ads I'm supposed to get paid for on the side of my blog). Of course I get this e-mail RIGHT before I am to receive my first check of $100.

Google Adsense Account Disabled

Hello,

While going through our records recently, we found that your AdSense
account has posed a significant risk to our AdWords advertisers. Since
keeping your account in our publisher network may financially damage our
advertisers in the future, we've decided to disable your account.

Please understand that we consider this a necessary step to protect the
interests of both our advertisers and our other AdSense publishers. We
realize the inconvenience this may cause you, and we thank you in advance
for your understanding and cooperation.

If you have any questions about your account or the actions we've taken,
please do not reply to this email. You can find more information by

Sincerely,

The Google AdSense Team

Apparently they can't prove I have done anything wrong, but they disable my account when I have reached the quota for my first paycheck. It says on the link that if my account is disabled they don't have to pay me any earnings. Interesting..... Sounds like a scam to me. what do you think? Has anyone actually been paid by these guys?

Sidetracked

Just when you think you have your day figured out, something gets you sidetracked. You drop Tyler at kindergarten, you workout, you put the baby to sleep and put on a show so you can hop in the shower and get ready for the day before you pick up Tyler, your two-year-old of course throws you for a loop. This is what I saw when I got out of the shower.
Talk about a lot of blood all over the place! Of course Jacob never cries, so I wasn't surprised he wasn't upset about anything. At least that is what I thought until he showed me this:

and Asked me if I would make him some Crystal Light. Of course he couldn't wait until I got out of the shower to start making it himself.

It was everywhere, all over the carpet, bathroom, kitchen, his hands, feet, stomach, face, etc. Of course it is bright red too! Why would Randy buy something so very red and stain worthy I have no idea, but we are NEVER buying it again!

No matter how much he and the children enjoy it. BTW, I went to pick up Ty with wet hair, no makeup and my feet are also stained red like Jacob's now. What a fun day! I still haven't gotten it out of the carpet. You add water and it gets more red. Sigh.

"I've been at this school for 7 1/2 years...I'm no dummy..."

Hopping in the "school bus"

Tyler had his first day of Kindergarten today. The whole family took him to his class and only one of us cried.
It was Jacob.
He was very upset that he couldn't go to school with Tyler.
So sad.

Tyler is such a big boy now, I can't believe it! I'm still not sure about this whole school thing though. It is the end of an era where I have the kids home with me and I have my own schedule. Now, I will be on the schools schedule and will do it for the next 20+years. Tyler has four "friends" from his church class in his kindergarten class, so it is good he knows some people. They are all girls though, so he is hoping to find a friend that is a boy.
This morning as he said the prayer over breakfast he said; "please bless me that I won't cry at school today." I about lost it, but I regained my composure.

He was embarrassed we were taking pictures of him sitting there. What a cutie! I love that boy. And lucky for us, he didn't start the school year off wearing a skull shirt. ;p

Or rather birth announcements. That is what we saw at the Zoo yesterday. There are so many new babies at Hogle Zoo right now. We saw The baby tiger triplets (on their first day out) a baby Giraffe, baby monkeys, etc. There is also a new baby elephant, new baby snow leopard and much more. thanks Ali and Mom and Dad for such a fun day!

Bows and things

I attended my first "bow party" last night and I have to say that it was pretty fun. I made these 10 bows plus 2 headbands for my sweet Lily. The boys wanted to see how they clipped into her hair
They got quite a few in.
But I prefer just one at a time. Tried to snap the picture just as she was reaching for the camera.

I hate it when that happens

I hate it when I fall down in my seat and I can't get up
I also hate it when this little baby grins at me...and then does this:

Now, it may sound like I am trying to get her to crawl to me. I am. But in my defense she is doing it whether or not I support her, so I chose (this one time) to coax her to crawl. It is so sad to see your baby grow up way too fast (unfortunately for me, faster than most) I am proud of her for reaching these milestones, but sad she didn't stay an immobile "baby" for very long.

Well, It's something...I guess

This is our first tomato of the season. It is a cherry tomato. I sure hope it isn't the last tomato we have. I haven't seen anymore in the works. We have very large green tomato and pepper plants, but unfortunately not any fruits (with the exception above) of our labors as of yet. I did spy some buds yesterday though, so hopefully they will turn out something for us.

Tyler's watermelon plant is getting pretty big though, so that is something too.

I guess it is good that they aren't all dead right? Randy's and my thumbs must have a little green in them after all.

That's gotta hurt

While Randy and I attended the temple last night, my parents graciously watched the kids for us. While we were gone, Jacob got into a little accident with a kitchen chair. My mom says he was trying to get up onto it and it tipped over on him landing on his face. My mom didn't think it would have hurt him much until she saw the blood coming from his lip. She said he didn't cry for more than 3 seconds. Sounds like him. He doesn't complain much about being hurt (Just like his dad). If it were Tyler, on the other hand, I think he would still be crying about it. We weren't sure if he needed stitches or not, but the common consensus was that he probably didn't. Here are pictures of his "War wounds" a fat split lip that is so big he can hardly eat or close his mouth.
Of course he is smiling. I actually told him to look sad and this is what he came up with. Silly boy.

He sure doesn't act like his lip is bothering him. I guess it doesn't bug him as much as Tyler does. but his speech is slightly different.

On a completely unrelated note, for Lily's 5 month "birthday" the other day, I painted her toenails for the first time in her life. They are SO stinking cute! And I thought hair was fun!

It's in the Photograph

My awesome friend Alison Livingston took these photos of Lily about a month ago. Obviously she does an amazing job. So amazing in fact, I can't decide which pics I like the most to put up on my walls. Let me know which photos of Lily are your favorite. Maybe it will help me decide. (this is already a narrowed down list if you can believe it.)
You can check out some of Alison's other photos here.

"Stop Hitting Yourself!"

That is the phrase I heard as I entered my room this morning and saw Jacob holding Lily's little hand as he had her "punch herself" in the face. She started crying, but he thought it was a pretty funny thing to do. I'm sure he didn't learn it from Tyler who didn't learn it from his father right? I guess she is going to be one tough girl for all the things her brothers are going to put her through. Watch out for these two.

Would you like fries with that?

I gave in and fed her cereal as you can see. I just couldn't nurse her as often as she thought she needed to. It is fun to watch her suck her fingers after each bite and grin because she loves it. What a cutie. Hopefully a chubbier cutie soon.;)

Appropriate or Old Fashioned?

Tyler and I went school shopping (sniff sniff) and if you know Ty, you know he is extremely picky about what he wears. Lately it has been "Army" clothes and that's OK I guess. Anyway, we were picking out clothes and he didn't like any of my suggestions (of course) but he found two shirts that he thinks are "AWESOME!" and super "cool". The shirts were only $4 so I didn't really fight him on it, but what do you think? am I just old fashioned or is this shirt inappropriate for school? It does have skulls on it, but he really hasn't noticed that. He loves the guitar the most and his self esteem goes way up just when he tries it on. He absolutely loves it!I guess my question is: should I let him wear it to school? or should they just be "play clothes"?

At least he isn't dressing like a silly two-year-old. Jakey is a goof.

Don't Do It!

Looks like Lily is on her way to crawling pretty soon. This video was from a few days ago and since then she has learned how to get up on her hands and knees rock back and forth and then fall forward. Yep, I'm sure any day now she will be crawling around the house. How disappointing. She isn't even 5 months old till next week. She scoots everywhere with a big grin on her face because she can get to the things she wants to grab. Silly girl.

As if the transition isn't hard enough...

Lily now takes issue with Randy being beardless.

She cries.

When he holds her.

Like he's not the daddy she knows.

It is so sad.

I miss it too Lily! Someday we will get it back.

Someday.

for those interested in what he looks like without a beard, we took this photo of him today just for you.

Can't Help Myself

Cooking and scrubbing
can wait till tomorrow
For babies grow up
we learned to our sorrow

So quiet down cobwebs
and dust go to sleep
I am rocking my baby
and babies don’t keep!

Thanks Eileen

Nothing is as Constant as Change

I've been learning this all my life, but it is still hard to handle change when it does come. Today Randy got called into the bishopric in our ward. I am now an official member of the "lonely wives club" on Sundays. We will see how it goes having to take care of the three kids all by myself in sacrament meeting. I don't know how I'm going to do it. I am totally OK with his new calling though, in fact I wasn't surprised at all that he was called to this position. He will do a wonderful job and he is a great leader. I look up to him so why wouldn't others? Anyway, Thought I would let my thoughts on the matter be known. I am proud of Randy and I am sure this will be a blessing for both of us.
Thanks to Kristi and Karl's family,Michelle and Robby's family, my Mom, Dad and Grandmother for attending our sacrament meeting and supporting Randy today.
We love you. (Thanks to everyone else for your well wishes.)

I have to say that I am sad to see this beard go away. I guess I had better get used to a clean shaved Randy. It may be a while before the sexy beard comes back.

Fun family gathering

We have had fun with most of Randy's Sisters this week. Paige, Lisa, Amanda, and Lisa's three kids came to stay with us and Kristi and Karl came with their 3 kids as well. We have had a blast playing around and chatting. Jake got up this morning and the first thing he said was "Where are my cousins?" so sad they are gone. Here are some photos of some good times. I hope they come again soon.
