Robot Babysitter

Some days it would be nice to have a robot babysitter on hand to just...you know, watch my kids for 5 or 10 minutes. This would be especially nice at times when I "Just need to run to the school to pick up Tyler and the baby is sleeping and I don't want to wake her for a 10 minute run" or when "I have to run into the store to grab ONE item and I don't want to take the kids in and out of the car-seats again." or when "I have to walk Tyler to his piano lesson just down the street but he is scared to walk by himself and another child refuses to come or is sleeping." I think this robot should be able to handle my kids for short spouts when parenting isn't really needed unless something catastrophic happens right? I'm so tired of waking Jacob to take Tyler to school and waking Lily to pick Tyler up from school. Or maybe for those times when I just need to "hide" from the kiddos for 10 minutes for my own sanity. Anybody have a spare robot babysitter laying around? Or even a single/married stay at home person available at any hour who is nearby who would love to watch my kids on whatever whim I happen to have. Thanks,
Heather

Believe they call that a nanny! I have to admit with mom and dad living so close I use them a lot for my quick runs. It's been so nice being able to leave the kids to run quick run around.

I'm glad I don't have that problem yet (about school), but I have felt that way about shopping if I just need to run in and grab one thing. Or maybe worse is needing to grab one thing from a few stores. Oh well. Sorry I don't have one for you to borrow, but move up here and I'll babysit for you.

Let me know if you find one so I can steal it!! Although, Savannah is almost old enough to be a robot babysitter. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and I can almost taste the freedom coming my way!
